T-Mobile, AT&T customers in Hanover may experience issues calling 911

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- T-Mobile and AT&T customers in Hanover County may experience issues calling 911 on Wednesday.

At around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, a spokesperson for Hanover County said AT&T had contacted the county and advised that its customers in the area may experience issues calling 911.

The county said alternatives to reaching emergency services may include using cellphones or dialing the non-emergency number, which is 804-365-6140.

At 4:17 p.m. on Wednesday, the spokesperson said that T-Mobile also contacted the county to advise that some of its customers in Hanover County may potentially experience a "temporary weakening or loss" of wireless service.
