Teenage boy fighting for life after shooting in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A teenage boy is fighting for his life after he was shot in Richmond's Northside on Friday.

The evening of Friday, Feb. 7, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 2200 block of W Street for report of a person shot.

When they arrived, they found a teenage boy with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to a local hospital with injuries considered life-threatening.

No additional information is available as of the time of reporting. Police continue to investigate this incident.
