Three cats abandoned outside of Richmond Animal League up for adoption

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The three cats that were abandoned in cat carriers outside of Richmond Animal League (RAL) in mid-July are up for adoption, according to the shelter.

The three cats who were found outside RAL in cat carriers by shelter staff on July 16 are ready for adoption, according to a social media post by the shelter on July 31.

The cats have been named Monster, Maverick and Mayhem, with RAL describing each of the cats' personalities.

Monster, the black cat, is described as being the outgoing, affectionate social butterfly of the group.

The tortoiseshell and orange cats are described by RAL as being a little more nervous in the environment of the shelter, but gentle felines who need time and space to feel secure.
