Three juveniles hospitalized after car crash in Hanover County

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Three juveniles are recovering after a car crash in Hanover County early Sunday morning. On Sunday, Oct. 27, Hanover County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an overturned vehicle in the 12100 block of Old Ridge Road, just before 4 a.m. According to authorities, the car ran off the roadway, crashed into a fence and overturned with three young people inside. All three juveniles were transported to the hospital with injuries. Police said alcohol is not believed to have been a factor, but speed may have contributed to the crash. 8News spoke with the property owners of the land where the crash happened. They said it took 10 hours to repair the fence and would cost roughly $3,000-$5,000 in damages.
