Three people hurt in Prince George kitchen fire
PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Three people were hurt -- with two of them having to be hospitalized -- in a kitchen fire in Prince George County on Thursday.
Just before noon on Thursday, Feb. 27, crews with Prince George County Fire and EMS were called to a home in the 6300 block of Edgewood Drive for report of a fire.
When they arrived, firefighters could see the flames from outside of the structure. According to officials, they went inside and found the fire in the kitchen.

Firefighters put out the fire soon after.
Three people at the scene had burns, which were treated by EMS personnel. Two of those three needed to be taken to a local hospital for additional treatment.
