Three without a home after Richmond apartment fire
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Three people are without a home after a Tuesday evening apartment fire in Richmond.
Just after 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, crews with the Richmond Fire Department were called to an apartment building in the 1400 block of Clarkson Road for report of a fire.
When firefighters arrived, they saw smoke coming from a first-floor apartment. Photos taken at the scene show what appears to be significant heat damage to one of the apartment's windows.

No one was injured as a result of the fire. However, its damage has displaced three people.

The fire began in a bedroom at the back of the apartment, fire officials told 8News. Its cause remains under investigation.
