Tractor-trailer crash caused miles of delays on I-95 in Colonial Heights
COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. (WRIC) -- Drivers expected delays on Interstate 95 South in Colonial Heights during their morning commute on Thursday due to a tractor-trailer crash.
At around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, the Virginia Department of Transportation reported that the right lane on I-95 southbound was closed near Temple Avenue due to a tractor-trailer crash.

According to the department, there were five miles of delays. Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes during their morning commute.
At 2:37 p.m., Virginia State Police said the scene for the crash cleared hours ago, however, the Virginia Department of Transportation has closed a lane in the area to replace a sign that the tractor-trailer hit.
