Two adults, two children displaced after house fire in Prince George
PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Two adults and two children are displaced after a house fire that started in the crawl space of a Prince George County home.
Just after 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, Prince George Fire and EMS crews responded to a call for a structure fire on Heritage Road.
According to officials, smoke was coming from the crawl space of the home, but the homeowner found the fire and was able to put it out with a fire extinguisher.
When crews arrived on the scene, there was no active fire.

Crews remained on scene to check for extension and to assist with ventilation.
Two adults and two children were displaced due to the house fire and are being assisted by the Red Cross, according to Prince George Fire and EMS.
Firefighters said this is believed to be electrical, with smoke conditions in the crawl space.
