Two arrested in Colonial Heights apartment burglary, third suspect at large

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. (WRIC) -- Two people were arrested after they were caught on camera burglarizing a Colonial Heights apartment complex on Monday evening. Police continue to search for the third suspect.

At about 7:25 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, officers with the Colonial Heights Police Department responded to in progress at Colonial Court Apartments, located in the 900 block of Westover Avenue.

According to police, a resident of the apartment complex contacted police after they saw several suspects inside their apartment through a surveillance camera.

Police arrived and arrested one person, and a second person was arrested soon after.
