Two dead after early morning Chesterfield house fire
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Two people are dead after an early morning house fire in Chesterfield County on Saturday.
At 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, crews with Chesterfield Fire and EMS were responded to a fire alarm call at a house on Rosegill Road, off Reams Road.
When they arrived, firefighters spotted fire coming from the home and called additional units to respond.
According to a Chesterfield Fire spokesperson, two adults were taken to area hospitals, where they later died due to their injuries.
Their identities are pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
