PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A Chesapeake woman and a Hampton man are dead, while a Suffolk man is facing charges after a single-vehicle crash in Prince George County on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Sept. 17, the Prince George County Police Department announced the arrest of the driver involved in Tuesday's deadly single-vehicle crash: 49-year-old Timothy Falcone of Suffolk. Police also identified his passengers, 33-year-old Victoria Crawford of Chesapeake and 35-year-old Michael Jackson of Hampton, as the two people who died in the crash.
The crash took place at 8:23 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, on Route 460 in the 8200 block of County Drive just outside of Disputanta, according to police.
When officers arrived, they found an overturned vehicle. Police said the car was moving west on Route 460 when it veered off the road, hit a tree and then overturned.
Crawford and Jackson died at the scene. Falcone was initially taken to Southside Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
After being reportedly medically cleared by hospital staff, Falcone was taken into custody by the Prince George County Police Department.
He has been charged with the following offenses: two counts of involuntary manslaughter and one misdemeanor charge of driving on a revoked license.
The Prince George County Police Department's Crash Reconstruction Team is continuing to investigate the cause and circumstances of the crash.
