Two people shot in Prince George, police say Ruritan Club patrons may have ‘crucial evidence’

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Two people were shot on County Drive in Prince George County early Sunday morning, with police saying patrons of the Ruritan Club may have "crucial evidence" of the crime on their phones.

In the early morning hours of Sunday, Nov. 2, two people were shot in the 8900 block of County Drive, according to a Nov. 2 social post from the Prince George County Police Department.

They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

As of about 5 p.m. on Sunday, the two shooting victims are in stable condition, per police.

Investigators are aware that patrons of an event at the Ruritan Club may have captured "crucial evidence" of this crime on their cell phones.
