Two shootings and a stabbing create a violent night in Richmond
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Three people are recovering after Richmond Police responded to two shootings and a stabbing throughout the city on the night of April 1.
Police are currently investigating the various violent incidents that unfolded, but as of the time of reporting they said everyone involved is expected to be okay.
The first incident happened on West Main Street where police said a juvenile was shot shortly after 9 p.m. That juvenile arrived at the hospital with non-life-threating injuries.
Roughly 30 minutes later, police responded to a stabbing on Treehaven Drive at around 9:40 p.m. That victim also had non-life threating injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Then, at around 11:15, police responded to a second shooting this time on East 11th street. One person was found shot and taken to the hospital with non-life threating injuries.
It's unclear right now if any of these incidents are connected.
