VDOT reopens Skipwith Road bridge in Henrico
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- After two years, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has lifted the barricades on the Skipwith Road bridge.
On Wednesday, April 23, the Skipwith Road bridge was reopened to the public. All lanes of traffic are now able to be used for the first time since early 2023.

It was initially closed down for a rehabilitation project for the bridge, which was necessary for the bridge to continue serving the community.
