UPDATE: 27-year-old driver dead, others injured after crash, vehicle overturned in Henrico
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A vehicle crash on Interstate 64 caused delays for drivers in Henrico County on Sunday morning.
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) first reported the crash just after 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 22. The crash was located at mile marker 197 on I-64 westbound near the Airport Drive exit.
All westbound lanes were closed until about 9:45 a.m. Sunday. As of that time, all lanes are open and the scene is clear, according to the department.
Drivers were encouraged to seek alternative routes.
