Vehicle fire causes closures, delays on I-95 in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A vehicle fire is causing closures and delays on Interstate 95 in Chesterfield Friday evening.
As of 7:13 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3 a vehicle fire has caused the right lane and right shoulder to close on I-95 northbound near Route 288, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT)
The department said that motorists can expect delays.
According to Virginia State Police (VSP), officials believe it was a disabled vehicle that was left on the shoulder and caught fire.
No injuries have been reported at this time and there was no one with the vehicle.
