VIDEO: Suspects in string of Hopewell larcenies caught on doorbell camera
HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) -- Suspects in several larcenies from vehicles around a Hopewell apartment complex were caught on camera, with police asking for neighbors' help in identifying them.
On Thursday, March 5, the Hopewell Police Department took to Facebook to ask the public for help in identifying those involved in a string of larcenies from vehicles in the Farmingdale Apartments area.
The department shared what appears to be doorbell camera footage of two people believed to be connected to these crimes. Per its timestamp, it was captured just after 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4.
Neighbors are asked to take a look at the video -- which is included below -- to see if they potentially recognize either or both suspects. Though police acknowledge that the video isn't "perfectly clear," the department hopes that someone may recognize the suspects' "clothing, mannerisms or other identifying features."

"If this is you, or someone you know, we will figure it out," police said. "Cameras, witnesses and good police work tend to catch up with people who think checking car doors at night is a career path."
