Villefest coming to Mechanicsville High School

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Mechanicsville High School is inviting people to come out for Villefest -- a chance for fun activities and to raise money for a local nonprofit.

Villefest will take place at Mechanicsville High School Football Stadium from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 26. With a $5 entrance fee, people can participate in kickball, cornhole, bounce houses and a dunk tank.

The goal of the event is to raise $10,000, which will go toward sending 30 children to Comfort Zone Camp, a local nonprofit organization that provides free grief camps and other forms of support for children who have lost loved ones.
