Virginia Gov.-elect Spanberger reveals senior staff, administration picks

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Gov.‑elect Abigail Spanberger has announced her additional staff and administration appointments for the upcoming term.

On Jan. 5, Spanberger released the names of those who will serve alongside her as her senior staff in the Office of the Governor, State Agencies and Secretaries.

Spanberger appointed Jeffrey Katz as Superintendent of the Virginia State Police, who was the former Chesterfield Police Chief.

Another notable person is S. Duke Storen, who will be returning to the role of Virginia Department of Social Services, which he previously served during Gov. Ralph Northam's term.
