Virginia Museum of History and Culture to host eighth annual Virginia Brews craft beer festival
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Cheers! The eighth annual Virginia Brews craft beer festival will come to the Virginia Museum of History and Culture (VMHC) in early August.
Virginia Brews will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture, located at 428 N. Arthur Ashe Blvd in Richmond's Museum District.
Attendees can enjoy tasting a variety of brews from across Virginia while listening to live music and dishes from food trucks.
Tickets include free admission to the museum, eight 3-oz pour tickets and a commemorative tasting glass. Additional pour tickets will be available for purchase.
Those who buy early bird tickets -- offered through July 10 -- can get tickets as VMHC members for $35. Early bird tickets for non-members are $40, and designated drivers' tickets are $12.
General tickets, available from July 11 through Aug. 2, or when tickets sell out, are $40 for VMHC members, $45 for non-members, or $12 for designated drivers.
Attendees must be 21 years of age or older and all guests must have a ticket, according to organizers. No coolers, pets or outside food or drink are permitted.
The festival is rain or shine.
