Virginia State Police asks public for help to find truck involved in Lancaster hit-and-run

LANCASTER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Virginia State Police (VSP) is asking the public for help to find a truck involved in a hit-and-run incident on Norris Bridge in Lancaster County on Friday.
VSP is investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred on Norris Bridge in Lancaster County at around 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1.
Authorities are asking for help finding a silver or gray pickup truck that was pulling a large white camper that officials say was involved in the incident.

According to state police, the truck was traveling westbound on Route 3 from Middlesex County to Lancaster County when it crossed the centerline and hit a van going in the opposite direction, causing the van to then hit another vehicle.
State police said the drivers of the van and the third vehicle in the incident were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the pickup truck reportedly continued traveling on Route 3.
The pickup truck continued traveling through the White Stone stoplight at around 6:11 p.m. and then went in an unknown direction, according to state police.
