Water restored after leak in New Kent neighborhood shut down water on certain streets

NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Water has been restored in New Kent's Brickshire neighborhood after a recent water leak caused a water shutdown for certain streets starting Wednesday evening.

According to county officials, the water was shut starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, for the following streets:

  • Crewe Ct.
  • Aristocrat Dr.
  • Ashborough Dr.
  • Doronhurst Dr.
  • College Green Dr.

Officials shared that water service has been restored at 1:05 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11. Officials previously said the water leak occurred at Brandon Pines Drive from Kentland Trail to Aristocrat Drive.
