Welcome 2025 with night hike on New Year’s Eve at Pocahontas State Park
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Not one for partying on New Year's Eve? Pocahontas State Park will host a night hike to welcome the new year. The hike will be held from 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31 through 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1 in the park. According to the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, the hike is rated moderate to advanced and spans over 2.3 miles. It's not suitable for kids 10 and under.
