Woman hit by driver in Richmond intersection

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman was hit by a driver in a Richmond intersection late Sunday night.

Just before 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the intersection of West Broad and North Adams streets for report of a crash involving a pedestrian.

When they arrived, officers found a woman who had been hit by a car. A police spokesperson said they were not aware of the exact extent of her injuries, except that they were not life-threatening.

‘Evolving emergency’ at Gardy’s Millpond in Northern Neck, dam at risk of ‘imminent failure’

The involved driver is reportedly cooperating with police.
