Woman hit with 13 felony charges after park tables, benches vandalized in Petersburg
PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman is facing 13 felony charges after police say benches and tables at a Petersburg public park were vandalized.
On Saturday, March 8, officers with the Petersburg Bureau of Police were called to Poplar Lawn Park for a report of vandalism -- specifically, concrete tables and benches at the park had been vandalized.
A 21-year-old woman was then arrested in connection to the incident, with police saying she and "an associate" got into an argument before said vandalism took place.
She was charged with 13 counts of felony destruction of property. She has since been released on an unsecured bond.
