Woman injured after shooting on Laburnum Avenue in Henrico County

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman is injured after police said she was shot along Laburnum Avenue in Henrico County Friday evening.

At 7:10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, the Henrico County Police Division received a call for a shooting at the 4400 block of Laburnum Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a woman with a gunshot wound, whose injury was considered non-life-threatening, according to police. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police said a male suspect was detained at the scene. Officials continue to search for an unknown suspect.
