Woman shot on Cliffbrook Avenue in Henrico

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman is injured after she was shot in Henrico County Sunday evening.

At 9:27 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23, Henrico police responded to a call of a reported firearm violation on the 1800 block of Cliffbrook Lane.

According to police, a woman was shot and was taken in a "private car," when officers then intercepted and located that victim and vehicle at Libbie Avenue and West Broad Street.

Officers said she was taken by the Henrico County Fire Division to a local hospital for treatment, where she is currently being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
