15-year-old dies after shooting in Richmond’s East End
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A 15-year-old boy is dead after police said he was found lying on the ground with a gunshot wound in Richmond's East End Friday evening.
At 3:28 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 1800 block of R Street for the report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a 15-year-old boy lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. Police said he was taken to a local hospital, where he reportedly died due to his injuries.
The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
