HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) – A Montessori school in Henrico County says two teachers are no longer with the school after a toddler walked away from his class and into traffic before being saved. The toddler wandered from his class at the Richmond Montessori School and onto Parham Road on Nov. 22, where he was saved by a Good Samaritan, per the school’s statement. “A toddler was able to wander away from his class and was rescued by a Good Samaritan in traffic on Parham Road,” the statement read. “We will be eternally grateful to this individual.” The school said it is “deeply troubled by” the incident and that it plans to conduct a campus safety audit and immediately implement additional safety measures.
