29-year-old man arrested for allegedly having, sharing child sex abuse material in Albemarle

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 29-year-old man is facing charges for allegedly both possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in Albemarle County.

On Monday, March 2, the Albemarle County Police Department arrested 29-year-old Nicholas J. Clark, of Charlottesville, after receiving a cybertip from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, as part of the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children taskforce, per a press release.

Clark was charged with two felonies: possessing child pornography and distributing child pornography.

According to police, Clark is being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail without bond.
