3 adults, 1 child without a home after Chesterfield house fire
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Three adults and a child are without a home after a house fire in Chesterfield County on Tuesday.
At 4:08 p.m. on Sept. 23, firefighters with Chesterfield County Fire and EMS were called to a home in the 4900 block of Stanley Drive for a report of a structure fire.
Photos from the scene show that the flames caused heavy damage to a one-story home.
Fire crews put out the flames within 20 minutes.

Thankfully, everyone who was inside the home when the fire started was able to escape before firefighters arrived. No one was hurt.
However, those who lived in the home -- three adults and a child -- were displaced by the fire's damage. They are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
