30-year-old man dies after being shot several times in Hopewell

HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) -- A 30-year-old man has died after police said he was shot several times in Hopewell Wednesday evening.

At 5:37 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, Hopewell Telecommunications received a call about a man who had been shot in the 1000 block of Sunnyside Avenue.

When officers with the Hopewell Police Department arrived at the scene, they found a man with several gunshot wounds.

The man was identified as 30-year-old Tion Kiandre Studivant of Hopewell. He was taken to a local hospital where police said he died due to his injuries.
