37-year-old arrested after double shooting at Disputanta Ruritan Club

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 37-year-old Petersburg man has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies in connection with a double shooting at a Prince George service club in early November.

According to the Prince George County Police Department, two people were shot at the Disputanta Ruritan Club at 8961 County Drive at 1:20 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2.

As a result of the incident, officials said both victims were seriously injured and had to be evacuated to higher-level trauma centers. As of the time of reporting, both victims are in stable condition and recovering from their injuries.

With assistance from the United States Marshal Service, investigators arrested 37-year-old Marlo Moore, of Petersburg, on Monday, Nov. 24. Six firearms were seized during the investigation, and Moore is currently facing the following charges:

  • Two counts of felonious assault
  • Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony

Moore is currently being held without bond at Pamunkey Regional Jail.
