42-year-old identified as man killed in stabbing inside Indian restaurant
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A 42-year-old man has been identified by police as the person who was killed in a stabbing that occurred in the kitchen of Lemon Cuisine of India Thursday evening.
The Richmond Police Department has identified the victim as 42-year-old Kyron Fowlkes of the town of South Hill in Mecklenburg County.
At 11:58 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, officers were called to Lemon Cuisine of India located at 3215 West Broad St. for the report of a person stabbed.
When officers arrived, they found Fowlkes down and unresponsive in the restaurant's kitchen with an apparent stab wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police said detectives have determined that an argument among customers at the restaurant escalated to the stabbing.
