8News talks to voice of Flying Squirrels Trey Wilson

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News got a visit from a special guest from the Richmond Flying Squirrels on Monday to talk about what broadcasting will look like in the final countdown to the opening night of CarMax Park.

8News anchors Autumn Childress and Madison Moore were joined by Trey Wilson, Director of Communications & Broadcasting and voice of the Flying Squirrels, to talk about the ins and outs of the airwaves.

"This year we're going to have a lot to talk about with the new ballpark," Wilson said. "With CarMax Park, I'm assuming next Tuesday night for the home opener that's going to dominate the broadcast. We'll be talking about all the new great features of the ballpark and how excited everybody is for this monumental season."
