CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News got a visit from country singer Carrie Brockwell on Monday to talk about her new record and how she's navigating her career.

"All of these songs are about being genuine, and, you know, real, and really who I am," Brockwell said. "And it really encompasses where I'm at in this stage of life right now."
