8News talks with RPAA about ‘Women Take the Stage’ event
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News got a visit from a special guest with the Richmond Performing Arts Alliance (RPAA) on Tuesday to talk about their upcoming Women Take the Stage event happening next week.
8News anchors Autumn Childress and Madison Moore were joined by Kat Rumbley, director of marketing for RPAA, to discuss what people can expect.
"This is a powerhouse event," Rumbley said. "So, we're raising money for arts education, we're highlighting amazing women and their stories and we're also connecting people who are passionate about keeping the arts alive and accessible in Richmond."
People can head to the Dominion Energy Center's Carpenter Theatre on Tuesday, March 24 starting at 4:30 p.m. to catch keynote speaker Rachel Beanland followed by three panelists -- Eucharia Anigbo-Jackson, Charis Jones and Nicole Jones.
