‘A Night for Scott’ returns for 9th year, raises awareness of substance use disorder

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The annual "A Night for Scott" event returns for its ninth year this weekend to the Richmond area.

A partnership between 8News and 2 End the Stigma, "A Night for Scott: Cupid Ball for Scott" honored the life of Scott Neal Zebrowski, twin brother of 2 End the Stigma founder Jill Cichowicz, on Saturday, Feb. 21 at The Dominion Club. The event helped raise money for local recovery resources after Zebrowski died from fentanyl poisoning almost nine years ago.

The event saw a packed house Saturday night, including our 8News team: anchor Deanna Allbrittin, chief meteorologist Matt Dinardo and Showcase host Melissa Chase.

The event featured live music and entertainment, a live auction, tributes to Zebrowski and several chances to support 2 End the Stigma's mission of bringing awareness to the impact of substance use disorder.
