Adoptions half-off at Prince George animal shelter for ‘Clear the Shelter’ event

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- You can adopt an animal from Prince George County's animal shelter at half the cost during its "Clear the Shelter" event on Saturday.

On Saturday, July 19, Prince George County Animal Services & Adoption Center will hold a "Clear the Shelter" discounted adoption event.

"Our shelter is overflowing with lovable puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats—all waiting for a second chance and a forever home," officials said. "If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry friend to your life, now’s the perfect time!"

If you aren't interested in adding a permanent furry friend to your family, the shelter is also looking for fosters.
