Beauty store robbery leaves suspect on the loose in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Tuesday morning, a beauty supply store on Hull Street Road was robbed and Chesterfield County Police Department is seeking the suspect's whereabouts.

At 10:17 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, there was a robbery that occurred at the Beauty Zone -- located at 11019 Hull Street Road.

Chesterfield police said that the suspect came into the store, approached the counter and began stealing cash -- all while threatening the store employee with a weapon.

According to police, after the taking the money, the suspect left the store on foot. No one was hurt from the incident.

Police describe the suspect, seen below, as a Black male that was last seen wearing all black clothes and a multi-colored knitted hat.
