Center Street Pitch Competition is coming to Ashland

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A chance for entrepreneurs to sell and sharpen their business ideas is coming to the town of Ashland next week in the form of the Center Street Pitch Competition.

The event, hosted by the Dominion Energy Innovation Center and Downtown Ashland Association, will take place on Thursday, April 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ashland Theatre, located at 205 England St.

According to the Downtown Ashland Association website, it's an evening of opportunity for local entrepreneurs and innovators to pitch their ideas and potentially receive thousands of dollars in funding.

There are three categories that would-be businesses can pitch in -- Center of the Universe, Hanover and Beyond and Agriculture and Forestry.
