Chesterfield diaper drive collects record-breaking 63,972 diapers

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A diaper drive held in Chesterfield County collected a record-breaking 63,972 diapers this year.

In total, the drive ended up collecting 62,972 diapers and 852 packs of wipes, according to the county's Facebook page. This broke the record set in 2023 of 58,917, and exceeded the 55,000 goal they set beforehand.

The county said that support came in many forms, including participants from churches, schools, local businesses and families.

For those that missed the drive but still want to give, consider joining that Boxer Brief 5K, Diaper Dash and Toddler Trot that will be happening at City Stadium in Richmond on Saturday, June 7.
