Chesterfield to hold community meetings for 2027 proposed budget
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Community members will have several opportunities next month to hear and discuss Chesterfield County's budget for next year.
The county's board of supervisors will hold a series of community meetings in March for its 2027 budget. The county administrator will present the proposed budget during a work session on Wednesday, March 11.
All of the meetings will be held after the presentation.
County leaders said the community meetings will take place in several locations in the county's magisterial districts between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. The meeting locations and dates are as follows:
- Midlothian District: Thursday, March 12 at Midlothian Library (100 Millworks Crossing)
- Dale District: Monday, March 16 at Beulah Recreation Center (6901 Hopkins Road)
- Matoaca District: Tuesday, March 17 at Cosby High School Auditorium (14300 Fox Club Parkway)
- Clover Hill District: Wednesday, March 18 at LaPrade Library (9000 Hull Street Road)
- Bermuda District: Monday, March 23 at Chester Library (11800 Centre St.)
- Matoaca District: Tuesday, March 24 at Matoaca Elementary School Cafetorium (20300 Halloway Ave)
