Date changes for Richmond Animal League’s Woofstock Festival
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The date has changed for Richmond Animal League's (RAL) Woofstock Festival due to weather.
According to RAL, the date of the festival has changed to Sunday, April 27, due to the chance of thunderstorms. The original date was Saturday, April 26.
The outdoor event will be held to support animals in need throughout Central Virginia, featuring vendors, live music and a fashionable pet parade.
Woofstock will span from noon to 6 p.m. near the Innsbrook Pavilion located at 4951 Lake Brook Dr. in Henrico County's Glen Allen area.
Though the event is free, participants can donate to RAL’s mission — helping provide local homeless animals receive proper care.

Additionally, folks can meet rescue animals from RAL and 15 other shelters and rescue organizations.
