Deadly tractor-trailer crash shuts down I-95 South in Prince George
PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A person is dead and Interstate 95 South is shut down after a tractor-trailer crash in Prince George County late Tuesday night.
At about 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, troopers with Virginia State Police were called to I-95 southbound near Rowanty Road for report of a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer and a sedan.
Details about the crash are limited at this time. However, state police said that one person involved in the crash has died.
As of 8:49 p.m., all southbound lanes are closed, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
