RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Firehouse Theatre in Richmond will present a premiere of the Motown inspired musical Detroit '67. Detroit '67 opens up on Friday, March 12 through Sunday, March 30 at The Firehouse Theatre -- located at 1609 West Broad St. Written by Dominique Morisseau and directed by Tawnya Pettiford-Wates, this musical shares the perspective of 1967 in Detroit, according to the theater. Tickets are $35 for general admission and $15 for college and high school students. Also, a 15% discount is available for those who are active duty military and veterans.
