Dinwiddie County tax bills for first half of 2025 mailed out this week
DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Dinwiddie County Treasurer's Office has announced that the tax bills for the first half of 2025 will be mailed out starting this week.
According to the Dinwiddie County treasurer, the tax bills for the first half of the year will be mailed this week, with the payment deadline of June 5, without penalty.
“The Treasurer’s Office continues to offer a variety of payment options, including an option that allows you to make an eCheck payment over the phone – free of charge,” said Dinwiddie County treasurer Jenifer Perkins.
The county treasurer recommends residents to sign up on the county's website to receive update alerts on tax bills.
“Please note, it may take up to five days for phone payments to appear on your account," Perkins continued. "I encourage citizens to register to receive alerts from my office through the County website, and refer to the back of your tax bill for additional information on payment methods. Many of these methods can be scheduled to pay on a specific date so that you do not have to wait until the deadline to pay.”
For residents that are 65 and older, as well as permanently disabled individuals may qualify to be partially or totally exempt. To get more information, contact the Commissioner of the Revenue at 804-469-4500 (option 4).
