Driver seriously injured after crashing into utility pole in Henrico

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A driver was seriously injured after police say he crashed into a utility pole in Henrico County on Friday evening.

At around 10:25 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, officers with the Henrico County Police Division responded to the area of Staples Mill Road and Bethlehem Road for a reported single-vehicle crash.

When officers arrived, they found a vehicle had crashed into a utility pole.

The driver, a man, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, according to police.
