First-ever Asian Street Food Festival kicks off in Richmond next month

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The first-ever Asian Street Food Festival is coming to Richmond in early November with a "Pho-nomenal" lineup of Asian cuisines.

The Answer Brewpub, located at 6008 W. Broad St., will hold the festival on Saturday, Nov. 8, from noon to 5 p.m.

Asian Street Food Festival will feature food trucks and vendors representing diverse Asian cuisines — including Japanese, Thai, Indian and Filipino — and beer specials from The Answer Brewpub, organizers said.

“Our goal is simple: to give Richmonders the chance to taste the incredible variety of Asian
street food and experience the culture and community behind each dish,” said co-organizer
Rumy Mohta.

The event is hosted by the Asian American Society of Central Virginia and is free to attend.
