Flash flood warning issued in several Central Virginia counties

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A flash flood warning is in effect across several Central Virginia localities Tuesday evening due to heavy rainfall.
The following localities are under a flash flood warning until 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1:
- Caroline County
- Cumberland County
- Fluvanna County
- Goochland County
- Hanover County
- Louisa County
- Powhatan County
A flash flood warning means that heavy downpours are expected to cause sudden flooding in the impacted areas.
